100 Word Challenge: Week 33

“Guys, spring cleaning time!” Mrs. Linda said to her family, “Put all your winter clothes away.”

“But mom,” Said Rosie. “Um..”

“No buts, put your clothes away.” Mrs. Linda said. Mrs. Linda went upstairs and put all her coats and sweaters in her closet. “Done,” She said, “Now I am going to go outside and garden.” Mrs. Linda walked downstairs, but then walked upstairs again to Rosie.

Why was that hat on the table?” She asked

“But mom..”

“No buts, clean up your room.” Mrs. Linda put on her shoes and was ready to leave. As she opened the door she yells, “Oh my gosh!”

“I tried to tell you mom.”

100 Word Challenge: Week 32

I woke up and looked out the window. There was a transparent moon: the one you see in those scary movies. I looked at my clock. It was late: 2:00am. I was awake when my parents were asleep! I walked excitedly to my bedroom door and opened it. In front of me was a scooter with pretty flowers hung on the back. I jumped on and rode all the way to my kitchen where I found a beautiful rose on the counter. I took it and made my way to the living room. That is when I heard, “Hunny, it is time to wake up!” I woke up in my own bed with no scooter and no rose. It was a dream!

100 Word Challenge: Week 30

Gerald had a pet cat named Achoo. Achoo was a clumsy, playful tabby that got into collisions with any objects next to him. Today, Gerald woke up and got ready for school. While he was brushing his teeth, he heard something crash onto the floor like glass. He ran down stairs to see what Achoo has done. He walked into the living room to see a humorous sight. Achoo was sitting down on the floor with a lampshade on his neck. Gerald ran to his side, but at that moment, Achoo sneezed really loudly and the lampshade blew off his neck. Gerald couldn’t stop laughing!

100 Word Challenge: Week 29

Do you want to know how to bake a cake? Well, here is a recipe.

  1. First, butter your baking pan so it will be greasy.
  2. Use store bought cake batter because it takes to long to make it yourself.
  3. Add brown sugar and salt to your batter.
  4. After, add sugar and put it into the oven so the sugar won’t be melted.
  5. After it is baked, you can add decorations. I add plastic giraffes to the top of the cake.

This is all a joke, don’t actually try this recipe! I made it up myself and your cake would turn out terrible.

Blog Reflection

I think the Student Blogging Challenge was really fun! I liked how every week we could write about a new and interesting topic. I also really liked the 100 Word Challenge. It was really a challenge! You had to write about a topic with only 100 words. Including this one, I have written 12 posts. I got 55 comments not including any on this post. I really liked the Student Blogging Challenge Week 4. You had to catch up on your blog or write a story. I wrote a horror story and I really liked it. I think I did improve through blogging because my writing is so much better. I got a lot of comments on telling me tips on writing too. I really loved blogging this year, hopefully I will do it next year!

Student Blogging Challenge: Week 9

I love blogging! I really started blogging in 3rd grade, but then I stopped. Now I am in 6th grade and I am blogging again. It is really fun. I always love a good challenge, especially in writing. I love writing a lot and I was chosen for the ISTE competition in June. I can’t wait to go with my friends: Meredith, Isabelle, Ava, and AJ to the competition. I am really looking forward to it. Blogging is the best thing I could do in technology class. Not only I blog in school, I also blog at my house.  It is so much fun!

Student Blogging Challenge: Week 8

I have been to South Carolina many times. South Carolina is located on the south of the United States and it so hot! There are sunny beaches, small villages, great shops, and much more. The beaches have really small waves, so it makes it really shallow. The water is really warm; you can stay in it all day without getting cold. You can go bike riding in forests or you can bike on a bike path too. There are also a lot of golf courses there that are really big. I am a golfer and I usually go and golf with my dad. The bugs are really cool there too. There are colorful spiders and they make big webs.  South Carolina is a great place and I always look forward to go there!

Student Blogging Challenge: Week 7

I love Christmas! My family is 100% Polish. My whole family lives in Poland except my parents and my sister. We celebrate Christmas with fun Polish traditions every year. We have 12 dishes because there are 12 months in a year, we eat when the first star appears on the sky, we leave an empty plate so that we can welcome anyone, and we share an opwatek. An opwatek is a wafer that we share and wish we have a happy Christmas. The dishes my family eats is pierogies which are dumplings filled with meat or mushrooms and cubbage, barszcz which is beat soup, and homemade apple pie. My family does this every year and we will pass it on to the next generation.

Student Blogging Challenge: Week 6

I love music! I can play the clarinet, violin, piano, guitar, and drums. I am the best at the guitar since my dad teaches me. Not only do I play an instrument, I also do vocals. I don’t have vocal lessons, but I can sing. I usually just do karaoke with my sister.😂I absolutely love pop music too. My favorite artist is Justin Bieber. I really like his music because he is a good singer and makes great music. He started singing at just 15 years old! I have watched his movie many times too. Have you tried doing music?

100 Word Challenge: Week 27

Ella went to the orthodontist because she got braces. She went in and the orthodontists told her to sit down on a big comfy chair. They started putting tweezers and metal in her mouth which gave her an uncomfortable feeling. After they were done putting in the brackets they asked, “What color do you want?”

“I would like the purple,” Ella replied. They took the bands and started putting them over the brackets. After, they gave her a mirror and she took a look at her teeth. Her smile softened. “But it is the wrong color!” Ella exclaimed.
