100 Word Challenge: Week 30

Gerald had a pet cat named Achoo. Achoo was a clumsy, playful tabby that got into collisions with any objects next to him. Today, Gerald woke up and got ready for school. While he was brushing his teeth, he heard something crash onto the floor like glass. He ran down stairs to see what Achoo has done. He walked into the living room to see a humorous sight. Achoo was sitting down on the floor with a lampshade on his neck. Gerald ran to his side, but at that moment, Achoo sneezed really loudly and the lampshade blew off his neck. Gerald couldn’t stop laughing!

100 Word Challenge: Week 29

Do you want to know how to bake a cake? Well, here is a recipe.

  1. First, butter your baking pan so it will be greasy.
  2. Use store bought cake batter because it takes to long to make it yourself.
  3. Add brown sugar and salt to your batter.
  4. After, add sugar and put it into the oven so the sugar won’t be melted.
  5. After it is baked, you can add decorations. I add plastic giraffes to the top of the cake.

This is all a joke, don’t actually try this recipe! I made it up myself and your cake would turn out terrible.

Blog Reflection

I think the Student Blogging Challenge was really fun! I liked how every week we could write about a new and interesting topic. I also really liked the 100 Word Challenge. It was really a challenge! You had to write about a topic with only 100 words. Including this one, I have written 12 posts. I got 55 comments not including any on this post. I really liked the Student Blogging Challenge Week 4. You had to catch up on your blog or write a story. I wrote a horror story and I really liked it. I think I did improve through blogging because my writing is so much better. I got a lot of comments on telling me tips on writing too. I really loved blogging this year, hopefully I will do it next year!
